16 wanting to leave home any advice?

im 16 and for years ive wanted to leave home. my parents are not bad to me.. there are the odd occasions where they dont understand me, ignore me, generally just feel unwanted but im sure im not the only one and i understand this. i just want to gain more independance. why should i have to depend on my parents. I feel like im old enough now to look after myself. My only concern is money but i really cant stand turning 17 and still living at my parents. Some of my friends are moving away to live in different colleges. Their parents have allowed them the oppotunity happily, why wont my parents let me go, advise me. they oth left home at the same age and got along fine. Me and one friend have even thought about living with eachother if we ended up renting but again money is an issue :/ advice please :) x
