Am I Still In Love With My Ex?

Alright everyone here's the deal, me and this guy, jason dated for about 10 months. on our ten month anniversary he broke up with me. one of my friends texted and said he texted her, so i asked him and he said no. then i went over to her house and she showed me the msgs. it wasnt saved in her phone so i knew it was him (i memorized his number) anyway so i mentioned to him that she showed me the messages and asked him about it again, then he dumped me. he was a total douche. i had the car, the job, the money, and i paid his phone bill for him ( keep in mind, the one he was using to cheat on me with) it was $125/month, ( Iphone) Anywho, when we broke up i was heartbroken, because i didnt do anything wrong, however it was a rocky relationship. for a while i was depressed about it. its been about 2 months since the break up (tomorrow wouldve been a year for us) and in this time i've realized how much of an *** he was to me. i'm noticing everything that i shouldve seen a while ago. now i dont have a job anymore, i stay home and babysit my 4 yr old sister, but she's gone til july... so i'm just at home all day. and i have plenty of guys trying to talk to me.. but i'm just not interested in any of them.. is jason still clinging in my mind somewhere? like preventing me from dating anybody else? are my emotions playing with me?? someone please help, sometimes i feel like i might be depressed, but i dont even know... please help:/

So I met this great guy last yr (@ a club on Halloween...I shouldnt have been there, but was. I dont go to clubs anymore), he was drinkin, but he was very nice. I had known about his "social drinking" which I think was more than socially. I HATE drinkin since I grew up cleaning up after an alcoholic. He also said he had started chewing & this was also something that bothered me as I felt he was using these vices to cope w/stress at work. He even used the words "self medicating". He said he hated doin these things cuz they made him feel even more awful later & he wanted to get his relationship right w/Christ. I felt he was on the right track. So after we started datin for a couple wks. He mentioned smoking pot last year (another vice from his past that I didnt harp on since it was his past) I asked if he still does it & he said "sometimes". I started thinkin about these many addictions & realized as much as we LOVE each other I just CAN'T LIVE w/these things. I told him these things don't make me love him any less...I just can't/won't live with them. He was always tellin me not to change & I hadn't. He knew I had a problem with these things, but I thought he was on the right track. He said he wouldn't stop drinkin, but he wouldn't do pot anymore & was working on not chewing, but just on the weekends. I told him I wanted to be able to share Christ w/whoever Im with & having Christ as the center of a relationship will make it SO much better...he said "I'm not you". He said he wouldnt do these things if we had kids, so I asked him what about the gf he says he loves? He said it seemed as tho I would always stick by his side, so I told him, "If we were married & these things came up after...I would have". I want what God wants for me & shouldnt have to feel like I have to worry about whether he'll relapse. I said, "What vice or addiction is next?? This REALLY worries me." He has always battled depression & feels as tho the world is ALWAYS after him. His concern was that I had just said I wanted a life w/him & all of sudden sprung this on him, but after the drug thing I started realizing he may not really change forever. I asked him how long I'm guaranteed that he'll really stay drug free & he said, "I NEVER said I would quit forever." I just wanted to tell him before it got TOO far into it since his ex waited 3 yrs. She was the pastor's daughter & was supposed to be a "Christian", but they were havin sex for those 3 yrs. He was willing to commit to no sex until we got married. Keep in mind this was long distance & I wouldve eventually had to give up my family, my few friends & my job to live w/him 2500 mi away (which I wouldve done cuz I love him VERY much). He felt that since I loved him I should just turn a blind eye or act like these things arent happening. He said he doesnt expect me to be ok w/it or accept it, but how else could it possibly work?? This was my first bf & I'm 25 yrs old. I fall hard for guys, but I care for him so much I didnt wanna string it out. I understand it happened quickly, but I didnt wanna pretend like anything was wrong in my heart & I felt strong enough at this point to say Im sorry, but its JUST NOT RIGHT. I just want what God wants for me. He said he'd keep in contact w/me & check to see how Im doin, but Im not sure thatll really happen & thats ok. Did I do the right thing?

What I am wondering is should I tell her that I had contemplated suicide, but then always decided against it because of what she taught me? (Yes I had my parents but I didn't have my friends and that was really hard.) Well the fight lasted about two weeks and I know that doesn't sound long, but try going two weeks without your closest friends, it's the hardest thing in the world. Well during that period of 2weeks I really thought about killing myself, but always decided not to because my teacher taught me that everything gets better. (My parents always said that too but she really made me understand that everything does.) Well anyway, no one knows that I ever even thought about it, especially since I didn't show it, because I'm the kind of person who hides her problems and always seems so on top of things. That's why it'd be very surprising that I ever thought of it, even I am surprised. Anyway, I'm definatley over these thoughts now, because the fight is over and our friendship became even stronger because of the fight. But I always wonder if my teacher hadn't made me understand that, if I wouldve attemted to well, you know. And since tomorrow is the last day of classes, I'm debating about telling her, because she has no idea about it at all. But should I? I mean should I just forget it and not tell anyone? Because I don't want her telling anyone, because I am completely over it now! I mean I'd never do it now. I wouldn't even think about it now, I want to make that clear! But if I tell her I don't want her to tell my parents or anyone, and I know she may feel obligated to. So should I tell her? And if so how? What should I do?

From a guys point of view I would say that the reason he is being mean to you is because he does have feelings for you but is unsure if you feel the same. So by being mean to you he's trying to trick his mind into getting rid of those feelings by pointing out constant negativity towards you. He's still calling to hang out because he obviously still likes you duh! lol. Another point towards him liking you is that he seemed distant from when you told him that you were in a brief relationship. In my opinion he might of felt as if he wasn't good enough for you and it got him feeling down. My advice would be talk to him about it because only he can tell you what's really going on. Obviously you do feel something for him too even it be small or you wouldn't be asking the question :p.

1st Serg sent a admin separation request on my son and he has been diagnosed with PTSD (on base). What happens?

My son has been in the USMC for 3 years active duty. He has not had the cleanest record (under age drinking, etc.) he has been NJP'd. His 1st Serg sent a request for Admin Separation (the serg is no longer there, been reassigned) but the paperwork is processing. His NJP was durring his 1st year of service. He did not know he was sent up for administrative separation, until his new Gunny told him he received a notice today about the separation where they asked his opinion on my son and he said he would go to bat for him. He has been great since he has been back from his tour in Feb 2011 no trouble. He does not want to be separated and wants to fulfill his obligation. He does not know what to do (change of command, says he can't go talk to anyone).To top it off... they sent him to medical TODAY and diagnosed him with PTSD which they originally said he did not have. He received his Combat Ribbon while in Afghanistan. What should he do? My son is very smart but went straight in after high school and thought he was a bad a$$ and yes he was no angel but he is trying hard now. He does not even go out on weekends with his friends so he can stay out of trouble. I am scared he will get an OTH, and he will lose his GI Bill. He walked away from 2 full tuition scholarships for college from high school to join the military. All this and he is not even 21 yet.

Hola and thanks for showing interest to solve my problem. Thanks a million!! I and My best friend or you can say my lil sis are friend since four years. with a little bit of luck you won't get anything. i know people who have done so and gotten got, but they did not get sent to juvie. it all depends on who you get for the owner of the building i guess and who catches you and such. it's not like you are likely to get caught if there are no cameras. they would probably just take it as vandalism and try to fix it. nobody was around, right? well, don't worry, you shouldn't get caught... if you do, than you are all going to get in trouble, unless the one who gets caught does not rat the others out. if they do, don't be mad. we all do stupid things at some point or another. since his would have been your first offense than you won't get in that much trouble. probation probably, but not much else. it doesn't seem serious enough.

Admin Seperation from Marines on EAS day.?

Is it legal for the Marines or any other branch to Admin Sep you on your EAS day? Because it happend to me from the marines. I got Summary Court Martial in April of 2009 And my EAS was on July 10 of 2009. I made it to check out everywhere and at IPAC they cought it last minute that i was supposed to be out already but the paperwork was incomplete . So ya I got booted out on my EAS date on record. please I want to know if I got a fighting chance because a miss up on there end. How do you get over a breakup?

So i broke up with this guy sometime during january but i still cant get over him . There was some physical/emotional abuse but mostly emotional but the physical abuse wasnt very serious just a few slaps and shoves..but i broke up with him because of the emotioal abuse. Don't put too much stress on it. She will be able to pick up your nervousness and it might also make her nervous. Just be yourself. If she lives 45 minutes away, she probably doesn't know your town very well. Take her to a park, a museum, on a walk, etc. If that's not your thing, maybe a movie, dinner, lunch, or maybe even some type of amusement park or something. She obviously likes you, for your personality, or whatever, just be yourself. Do things that you would normally do with friends, and make sure you introduce her to your friends and maybe have them help you think of stuff to do.

ok so guys today i woke up and suddely walked to my bathroom and saw my toothbrush. i picked it up and put toothpaste on it. the suddenly i started to brush my teeth. Sounds like fwb wanted more to begin with, then when you went out with the other guy, it hurt your fwb, and when you came back he started being mean to you. In his own way I think the reason may be that he was/is trying to push you away so that HE isn't hurt again. He's distancing himself. In other words, you may not be able to repair the damage. There was this one guy we talked for like. Until one day he took me out on a date to the movies. alright so i just got my G2 a little while ago and im a very responsible driver. i was driving my friend home today and i pulled into her drive way. when i was backing out and just about to put it in drive again to leave, this crazy car comes speeding up the street, blaring music, with no intention of moving out of the way. he wouldve sideswipped me (at the very least!) so i straightened my car out to move out of the way. though, in the panic of doing this, though i did it very slowly (2km/h) i accidentally touched the car behind me. i got out and looked but there was no damage to the car and nobody around to talk to. i didnt leave a note because there was no damage. did i do the wrong thing?

Saw a ghost in the woods?

Today me and 2 of my friends were in a wooded area in-between a small medical clinic and a bike trail which is about 15 feet lower. and after being there for around a half hour we all looked over and saw a dark man-like figure appear about 30 feet away from us. But the thing is he wouldve had to climb up the 15' hill from the bike trail and we would've heard him. But he walked across the trail into the darkness and we all jumped up to go see what he was doing and as we walked by were he was we stopped and I watched a small fire just appear from nothing and we immediately left the other direction. But the after we came down onto the bike trail we saw a man in a wheelchair hold onto a kids bike as he went down the trail. What would a guy in a wheelchair be doing with a bike. We followed as he stopped were we had to go to exit the trail and a small child none us noticed before ran from infront of the wheelchair man into the exit of the woods.. As we went past the boy he was coming out the exit we were entering on a different bike.. Everything that happened was weird and I don't know how to explain it.. It sounds weird but if you were there you would understand how crazy and unbelievable it all just happened.. Tell me what you think

Why do I fear intimacy?

I really really feel uncomfortable with just about any kind of touch. When I see a friend or family member about to hug me I tighten up and bear it and if they catch me off guard I go completely stiff and abruptly pull away. When someone goes to high five me or shake my hand I "fist pound" them instead laughing it off like "oh I'm too cool for high fives". When someone drapes their arm around my shoulders or grabs my waist or anything like that, if I'm really comfortable around them I'll pull away, and if I'm not so close with them I will stand stiff as a board and not talk. We have 2 kids I recently had a miscarraige I was in the hospital all day and he only called once i know he just started his new job but even if i had started a new job i wouldve been calling or texting to make sure he was okay.i missed a day of work b/c of this an sat there alone.On top of that i feel stress Im taking care of the kids and etc he gets mad for spending 100 dollars on me.Do he know how much i spend taking care of these kids alone . I was discharged from active duty military with an re code of 4 and oth discharge. I was 17 and stupid as i had issues then. I did not realize that it would screw my life over as it has and i can not follow my path in life. I can not keep working these temp jobs or these dead end life jobs. I want the chance to serve my country over and to be able to pursue my life's dream. Unfortunately as it would have of me i have nothing because of that. So is there any way to get reenlisted short of having the president himself signing off on it? So can anyone help me here and please if you are just going to write you're screwed please refrain from doing so thank you

You may not want to hear it, but you should do thing for YOU right now. He is finding himself. You should do the same. Reconnect with friends and family. Try a new sport or hobby. Join a club of some sort. Don't focus on him. I know it's hard, but you have to allow yourself to move on. You never know what is in store for the future. Give him time and space. If he decides he does love you and wants to be with you, then he will be back. If not, there is someone else out there that will be better for you.

Early Pregnancy Loss HELP..?

Okay Last Thursday I was 19dpo (possibly miscalculated). I tested and got a very faint positive but + nonetheless. I have a cyst on left ovary and see gyn regularly and have an appt for this week so I wasn't worried about calling the doctor as I was already going and would confirm then. It was CD31 and that is long for me although I have a longer and varying luteal phase. Anyways the night of BFP I wouldve been around 3-4 wks, I started having a dark brown spotting and I really thought nothing of it bc I often have that from the cyst. Anyways I got the most agonizing back ache. A spot on the lower right side hurt nonstop and horribly along with abdominal cramps. The next day the blood got heavier and brighter in color. I had really bad bad cramps and terrible headache w/ random thigh cramps nausea and I threw up once. My temp was normal but I was having hotflashes from hell and I am usually cold natured. Anyways sorry if TMI but I am freaking out, this is what I experienced when going to the bathroom this weekend: Thick mucous-y stringy blood thing like slowly sliding out when sitting on toilet. Feeling of lots of blood "falling" out of vag and had lots of tiny blood clots, and only once when I wiped there was a really small dark gray bean looking thing. It was like smaller than a pea and had bloody stringys too. I was EXTREMELY emotional over the weekend and slept about 30 out of he 48 hours of Fri & Sat. Noone knew about BFP,

Do the chemicals involved in developing film have to be the same temperature?

I just developed my very first roll of B&W film yesterday. I was very satisfied with results. I am wondering, however, if my results couldve been even better if I wouldve kept all the chemicals I used at the same temp. I used Arista premium developer, stop, and fixer. I rinsed it with plain tap water. The developer was the only one used at 68 degrees. My biggest problem was keeping it at 68 degrees. I can only imagine how much difficult it wouldve been to keep everything, including the water rinse, at that temp! How do you all do it? Im on a strict budget, so I cant afford any special equipment. BTW, I used Legacy Pro 400 iso. Thanks.

Waiting on Admin Separation Board? Help!!.?

Ive recently got in some trouble at my local unit after being in the Navy for 7 years and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or comments to better my process and hopefully get an AdminSep instead of a OTH discharge. Restriction, half months pay, reduction in poaygrade, Captains Mast was no joke, i almost pissed myself:) already started doing my research and pretty much looks like I might be loosing all my benefits if I receive OTH. G.I. Bill, Disability, Education, Tuition assistance are pretty much flushed down the toilet not to mention job opening. I know i need to really talk to myJAG but im just waiting untill he comes back from break, and im aware of appealingto it afetr the fact but i want this to be a smooth process and if theres anything i can do to try to get all my benefits without hurting myself anyone more than i already have. If anyone has been or knows someone that has been kicked out of the NAVY for that white stuff "Zero Tolerence" , please advice, would like to know what im looking into. advice to and Drug related discharges and could give me some information, would be great. Why am I automaticaly assumed as a "Skinhead" while I was in Essex Cnty Lockup in NJ?!?!?

I am a 6'3, slim, German-American 42 year old man, born and raised in New Jersey, YES I AM an ex-con, I do NOT look like a "dangerous" man, look at my photo(circa 1987), I was always more the wisdom, nerdy looking guy.. I did however bulk up nicely during my last bid in 94 - 99 when I committed Armed Robbery, you know I am one of those guys whos cool, I like Heavy Metal, my hair is down past my shoulders, I have a few tattoos, I like to drink here and there. But for petes sakes, since getting out of jail, I have been a Computer Programmer!!! So I was locked up recently for 5 months on charges of DWI in Essex County Prison(Home of Newark and bunch of other crap areas), I am not from Essex, I am from all the ways down in Princeton NJ. Anyway, the jail was about 55% African American, 25% Hispanic and the rest being mostly Whites with a few Chinese.. So whenever I went out of my cell, I was called "skinhead", "peckerwood", "white boy" or something along those lines. I let them know quickly, that ive been in the can a few times and I can handle myself, I got up and said "OH EY BRO STFU AND GET OUT OF MY FACE WE COULD HANDLE IT IN THE YARD TOUGH GUY" they didn't bother me much. But what bothered me was that I had to be locked up beside the lowest, nastiest, dirtiest specimen from the wild back in the jungles. Boy if I had some more Skinheads in that prison we wouldve made it a real rough time for those boys.

aide was doing her best, it is already march and this hadnt happened before, the person the aIDE WORKS WITH IN THE AFTERNOON WENT TO THE HEAD CO-ORDIANTIOR AND THE AIDE WAS BROUGHT IN, THE PERSON THAT TOLD THE STORY, TOLD THE AIDE THEY WERE MEETING BECAUSE THERE WAS AN ISSUE OF A RUNNER IN THE SCHOOL TO, THE AIDE WAS BLOWN AWAY WHEN SHE WAS ASKED ABOUT THE RUN NING, THE TEACHER WAS N OT ASKED ABOUT THIS AT ALL,THE TEACHER and aide were having an issue with the girl, the girl would go up to her when she was suppose to listen to me, well the just of the story the aide feels she was set up and the way it was handled, the parents of b oth students with 2 new aides were being notified on fri, that their student was having a new aide, i would like some feed back from someone on this. the new aide is polish trhat will be woirking with rthe girl i have, school is over in june. i feel that it was a safety issue thst the aidem teacher, and head special ed adept. could have sat down and come up with a plan. the aide has beem in the disrttict for 8 years. and she feels the person in the afternnon was out to get her.

Folding a Canadian Flag?

No, ours doesn't show well when folded like the US one does. I think the best you could do is just fold both ends under, leaving maybe just a hint of the red bars showing. Means that the box would have to be almost half the size of an unfolded flag, very awkward. Or get very tricky and make folds through the middle of the leaf to leave some points of the leaf showing, but that would just about have to be sewn in place to stay that way. I checked the Flag Shop website and they give the same process as the site you have.
