My ex when asked sed he still loves me but just cant roght now. will he ever change his mind if it is love?

It sounds to me that some real bad stuff happened at the end of your relationship, and I'm sure it wasn't good. I would have to say that he still loves you but has to work through what happened at the end between you and him. Is it still possible that he still loves you? Yes, it is. I know because I've been divorced for almost 3 years now, and I still have love for my ex. He just needs to find himself before he can find you. Give him some time and he will come back. And don't start worrying if you phone him and he isn't there. He still has a life to live, regardless of what's going on. You'll only worry yourself and that might make things worse. Just hang in there and let things go at their own pace. I also believe in the saying that "If you love something set it free, if it comes back it is yours to keep, if it doesn't, it never was".
