Examples of in�on�lusive words : Heart of Darkness?

I may be wrong...but I believe "inconclusive words" means words like "may", "alleged", "supposed". For example, on some news stations the anchors often use inconclusive words to describe an on going investigation in a crime (since in our country we say one is "innocent until proven guilty" we refer to the person on trial as "the accused" or say that the person "allegedly" did this or that).
