Can men forget bad stuff if they loved you? will we reunite?

i don't wanna sound harsh but I am sure love is not enough sometimes .If he loves you but he says he cant be with you means he wants to make his last decision to forget about your love ,like his left part of brain is in a competition with the right part of his brain .For men you know they don't always follow their heart ,they mostly follow what their mind and brain tells them to do ..I don't think you can change his mind unless he want to be with you ,move on with your life and find someone else who appreciate your love..being in love with a tough guy like him will ending up hurting you more and more within a time you make mistakes even not on purpose..
