Can a sociopath be selective and turn his manipulative behavior off permanently for some women yet abuse oth?

First of all, I can tel you that he is probably not a sociopath. He probably didn't actually care about you, and probably never will, wether he ends up feeling guilty or not. I would suggest getting over it and getting on in life without him.
