Love is a connecting emotion, but so is anger. If she can get you angry, confused, and sad, then the payoff for her is she still gets to run your life without any of the pesky girfriend stuff she used to have to do. She is the one controlling the mood. It is like poking someone with a sharp stick. Evetually you will get some sort of response from them - usually negative. But you still get A Response. You can allow yourself to get worked up when she 'pokes' you, or you can decide to ignore her immaturity.
