I don't know what you did ,exactley, but it sounds to me like you hurt his PRIDE.That is worse than breaking his heart. That is why he says he still loves you (his heart is there) but you hurt something alot worse. THAT is why his head isn't there. The only thing you can do now is give him time to think and clear his head to think things over. You can keep in touch, but don't bug him about anything, his ego is fragile, and you can ruin things for good. Don't push!
